These Terms and Conditions of Use (Terms) govern your use of the ApprovedGarages.co.uk website (Website). Please read these Terms carefully. If you object to any of the Terms you must not use the Website. By using the Website you agree to comply with these Terms.
When reading these Terms please pay particular attention to clauses 4 and 7 which contain limits on our responsibility and liability to you.
Approved Garages is a trading name of Alliance Automotive UK Trading Groups Limited.
The Website is operated by Alliance Automotive UK Trading Groups Limited (we, us or our).
We are a limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 01416163. Our registered office address is Roydsdale House, Roydsdale Way, Euroway Trading Estate, Bradford, BD4 6SE. This is also our principal place of business.

In these Terms the following words have the meanings given to them:
AAG Services means the services we provide to you when you use this Website which are described in clause 3 below.
Approved Garages Network means our network of Garages.
Booking means your use of the Website to make a provisional booking with a Garage for the Garage to undertake Work.
Garage means an independent automotive repairer who is a member of the Approved Garages Network.
Quotation means your use of the Website to search and obtain a price from a Garage for the provision of Work.
you or your means the person using this Website including (but not limited to) for the purpose of using AAG Services.
Work means (but not is limited to) any automotive service, MOT, vehicle maintenance, supply of vehicle parts, or accessories or vehicle repair provided by a Garage.
When you use the Website we provide the following AAG Services free of charge:
• The ability to search our Website and identify Garages in a locality willing to provide Services.
• The ability to obtain Estimates from Garages.
• The ability to make Bookings with Garages.
• The ability to send Enquiries to Garages.
• A local rate phone number enabling you to call Garages.
We reserve the right to make changes to the AAG Services from time to time.
Whilst we will use reasonable care and skill when providing the AAG Services:
• We do not validate or guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information provided to you by any Garage.
• We do not validate or guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information contained in any third party review posted on this Website.
• We do not validate or guarantee the accuracy of any ratings contained on this Website.
• You must check any information you receive through your use of this Website before placing any reliance on it.
• We do not endorse or recommend any Garage. Nor do we act as the agent of any Garage. We do not make enquiries as to the nature, suitability, or quality of any services provided by any Garage nor the accuracy of any description of services, price, feedback, technical ability or the ability of a Garage to complete any transaction.
• Any Quotation for Work you receive via this Website is provided by the Garage and not by us. Any such Quotation is indicative only and is not a commitment by the Garage to undertake any work. A Quotation may be subject to change before a Garage commits to undertake any Work.
• Any Booking you make with a Garage via this Website for Work to be undertaken is provisional only and is not a commitment by the Garage to undertake any Work. The Garage will contact you directly using the contact details you provide to agree the arrangements for Work to be undertaken.
• When Work is undertaken for you by a Garage following a Booking made using this Website your contract for this Work is with the Garage and not with us. You will pay the Garage for Work undertaken.
• We will not in any circumstances have any responsibility for any Work undertaken by a Garage or for acts or omissions of any Garage.
• We do not guarantee that use of the Website will be uninterrupted or error free.
When using the Website and the AAG Services you agree:
• To comply with all applicable laws.
• That you are solely responsible for all content or information created submitted or posted on the Website or transmitted via the Website by you or on your behalf.
• That you will only submit or post content or information on the Website which belongs to you or you have permission to use.
• That all content or information created, submitted or posted on the Website or transmitted via the Website by you or on your behalf is true and accurate and that such content or information:
o is not dishonest, fraudulent or misleading
o must not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party or the privacy of any third party
o must not be harassing, libellous, discriminatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or unlawful
o must not encourage conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, may result in civil liability or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or codes of conduct
o must not contain any viruses, worms or other computer programming instruction that may damage, detrimentally interfere with, intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information.
We reserve the right to remove any information or content which you submit or post on the Website where in our absolute discretion we consider you have failed to comply with the requirements set out in this clause 5 or for any other reason we consider it appropriate to remove such information or content.
Where you use the AAG Services our third-party review provider Feefo, may send you an email giving you opportunity to provide ratings on the Website to let other users know about your experience when using AAG Services or Garages undertaking Work for you. In relation to reviews and ratings:
• Reviews and ratings may only be provided by persons aged 18 and above.
• Reviews must be in English, be factually accurate and must not contain any third-party personal details.
• The Acceptable Use Requirements set out in clause 5 apply.
• You agree that we may publish your review and your name on the Website.
• You agree that in our absolute discretion we may decline to publish a review or publish an edited version of the review. We will never edit a review to create a misleading impression of your views.
To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all liability to you for any of the following:
• loss of profit
• loss of opportunity
• loss of revenue
• loss of earnings or anticipated earnings
• any loss which is not a reasonably foreseeable consequence of our failure to comply with these Terms.
We shall not be responsible for any failure to provide this Website or any AAG Services or for any delays or errors in the Website or any AAG Services which are attributable to technical difficulties associated with third party provided servers or data hosting facilities, any internet service provider, any utility provider or any other reason beyond our reasonable control.
We will not in any circumstances have any liability to you for any Work undertaken by a Garage or for any acts or omissions of any Garage.
Nothing in this clause 7 shall affect any liability we may have to you for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter for which it would be illegal or unlawful for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.
Any information you provide to us about yourself when using the Website will be held and used by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy a copy of which can be found on the Website. Where you provide information in connection with obtaining a Quotation or making a Booking you agree that this information will be forward to the Garage concerned.
We use cookies on the Website. Further information about cookies and how we use them can be found in the Cookies Policy section of our Privacy Notice.
We may terminate your use of the Website at any time without notice if you fail to comply with these Terms or use the Website or AAG Services in a way we consider improper.
All intellectual property rights in the Website and the AAG Services are owned by us.
You may view, use, download and store material on the Website for personal use. Commercial use is not permitted. The re-distribution, re-publication or otherwise making available of material on the Website to third parties without our prior written consent is prohibited.
The Website may contain links to other websites. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of other websites not under our control or for the content of any third party advertisements on the Website. Any link is not intended to be and should not be construed as an endorsement by us of that other website. You may not create a link to the Website from any other website or document without our written consent.
If we don’t exercise a right we have under these Terms, it does not mean that we have waived this right.

These Terms are governed by English Law unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case they will be governed by Scots Law or Northern Ireland law (as applicable). Any disputes under or in connection with these Terms shall be dealt with by the courts of the country whose law governs these Terms unless you live in Northern Ireland or Scotland in which case you can choose to bring a dispute before the courts in your country or the English courts instead.
