I had the car booked in for MOT and to investigate a lack of acceleration. The mechanics diagnosed the problem as the clutch needing replacing, which is a big job on this car; there was also work needing doing in relation to the MOT. The earliest date for being able to book the car in for this was at least 2 weeks away but I was told that if I left the car at the garage, they could fit in work on it between other jobs and I might then get the car back within the 2 weeks.As I had brought the car in on a Friday, I lost the use of it for the weekend. When the garage provided me with an update part-way into the work, it looked likely I would not have it back for the following weekend either but the mechanics stayed until 9pm on the Thursday evening and worked late on the Friday so that I ended up getting the car back in time for the weekend.I really appreciated the extra effort the mechanics went to, to get the car back to me for the weekend as I have 3 children, who all needed to be taken to different places that weekend. Everyone at the garage is polite, helpful and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone needing a service, repair or MOT.
